This ABS Braking System Training Bench is based on the actual ABS system from the Volkswagen Jetta. It features a schematic diagram illustrating the ABS working principle, providing a clear demonstration of the system's operation during emergency braking. Designed to showcase the structure, components, and operational dynamics of an ABS braking system, it effectively supports both theoretical instruction and hands-on training in system inspection and maintenance.
.Real System Display: Constructed using genuine automotive ABS braking components to fully demonstrate the system's structure.
.Dynamic Simulation: An asynchronous motor drives the front and rear axles to simulate vehicle motion. When the brake pedal is pressed sharply during this motion, the ABS activates. This is evidenced by the brake discs maintaining slight rotation and a distinct pulsating feedback felt in the pedal, realistically replicating ABS operation.
.Visual Learning Aid: The panel features color UV-printed circuit and hydraulic diagrams. Trainees can directly correlate these diagrams with the physical system components to understand and analyze the control system's operation.
.Electrical Measurement Points: Test terminals are installed on the panel, allowing direct measurement of electrical signals (resistance, voltage, current, frequency) from sensors and control unit pins.
.Hydraulic Pressure Monitoring: Pressure gauges provide real-time readings of hydraulic pressure changes within the master cylinder and all four wheel cylinders.
.Diagnostic Capability: Equipped with a fault indicator light and a diagnostic socket. This enables connection to dedicated or generic automotive scanners to perform ABS/EBD system diagnostics, including ECU coding queries, reading/clearing fault codes, reading data streams, performing actuator tests, parameter setting, and waveform analysis.
